Staying on top of spending
With 14 sites across the UK and staff travelling between different locations, managing expenses started to become a huge challenge at Ruskin Mill Trust (RMT). ‘We had no oversight of what staff and the individual sites were spending on a daily basis’ said Jane Pickett, Group Finance Manager at RMT. ‘We were looking for a solution that would give us complete visibility on spend, whilst eradicating the manual process of reconciling receipts’.
Trial-run to complete roll out
Caxton offered a free trial run of their expenses management platform to enable RMT to familiarise themselves with the platform and expense cards. ‘We loved it straight away and rolled it out to all of our staff and across all of our sites immediately’ said Jane. ‘Opening the account and ordering the cards was so simple and straightforward, we’ve not looked back’.
With RMT issuing over 45 cards to their staff as well as having a separate card for each site, using one account, the central finance team quickly had complete control and visibility of the their business spending. It also meant less time was wasted on chasing expense forms and reconciling receipts as staff could scan and upload via the Caxton app.
