<h6 class="text-dark">Red</h6> If you’ve been in a <a href="https://www.gov.uk/guidance/red-list-of-countries-and-territories" target=_blank">red-listed country</a> in the 10 days prior to arrival in England, you’ll only be allowed to enter if you’re either a British citizen or resident. <br> <br> Regardless of vaccination status, you must carry out the following measures. You’ll need to <a href="https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk" target="_blank">complete a passenger locator form</a> and take a pre-departure Covid-19 PCR test, within the two days before you travel to England. You also must <a href="https://www.gov.uk/guidance/booking-and-staying-in-a-quarantine-hotel-when-you-arrive-in-england" target="_blank">pre-book and pay for a government-designated, 10-day hotel quarantine package</a> – which includes Covid-19 PCR tests to take on days 2 and 8, post-arrival in England. Note: the day you arrive in England is day 0.
<h6 class="text-dark">Green</h6> As of 4am on Friday 7 January 2022, those who are fully vaccinated and those aged under 18 will need to <a href="https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk" target="_blank">fill out a passenger locator form</a>, but will not need to take a pre-departure Covid-19 test, in the 48 hours before you arrive in England. And as of 4am on Sunday 9 January 2022, those who are fully vaccinated and those aged under 18 can choose to <a href="https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider" target="_blank">pre-book and pay for a Covid-19 lateral flow test</a> instead of a PCR test – to take at any time between after arrival and before the end of day 2. Note: the day you arrive in England is day 0. <br> <br> If unvaccinated, you’ll need to <a href="https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk" target="_blank">fill out a passenger locator form</a> and take a pre-departure Covid-19 test, om the 48 hours before you arrive in England. Plus, you’ll need to <a href="https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider" target="_blank">pre-book and pay to take a Covid-19 PCR test</a> on days 2 and 8 post-arrival, and quarantine at home for 10 days.
