Caxton Achieves Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

We’re pleased to announce that Caxton has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification for the first time — a significant milestone in the evolution of our cybersecurity programme.

Having maintained the standard Cyber Essentials certification for over five years, this advancement to the audited Plus level demonstrates our continued commitment to strengthening cybersecurity across our organisation and systems.

What Cyber Essentials Plus Involves

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed scheme that sets out a framework of best practices for protecting against common cyber threats. While the standard certification is self-assessed, Cyber Essentials Plus requires a full independent audit of security controls, conducted by an accredited external assessor.

The audit included hands-on testing of our systems, policies, and technical defences, assessing our:
