KEYNOTE SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Delivering one platform for every type of business payment

Paul is the Payments Integration Manager at Caxton, part of the Operations Team led by COO Alana Parsons. Day to day, he looks at how the platform works for the businesses using it and where it can be made better, especially as Caxton moves into new sectors.

Paul didn’t come into payments in a straight line. Before Caxton, he worked in construction and in payroll bureau services, and both taught him a lot about what businesses actually need from the systems they rely on. When payments run late, or a process takes three steps when it should take one, it’s real people and real cash flow that feel it.

That background lets him sit comfortably between the technical and commercial sides. He can talk integrations with developers in the morning, then walk a client through what it means for their bottom line in the afternoon.

What he enjoys most is the collaboration. For Paul, the best improvements come from getting the right people in a room, listening properly, and building something that genuinely makes life easier for clients.

His view is simple: payments shouldn’t be a headache. Done well, they quietly power better business outcomes.
