We can add funds to the card in minutes, which allows us to be able to respond to last minute requests and any top up requests whilst the traveller is overseas which was not possible with cash requests. This is also safer for the traveller and the university because staff aren’t travelling around with a large amount of cash which can be lost or stolen,” said a representative of the university. Everything is clearly labelled and we have full visibility of our accounts and cards. It’s very easy to pull statements and reports, as well as topping up or unloading a card. The list of currencies available is good but we also like having the flexibility of using our GBP balance in any country that isn’t on the list of offered currencies, to make sure that our staff always have access to funds.” <br> <br>
